FOR DANDRUFF

• Add 1 teaspoon of camphor to half a cup of coconut or neem oil. Store it in glass container. Dosage: Massage this oil into the scalp before bed.
•  Mix 1 teaspoon of castor, mustard and coconut oil each and massage into the scalp
• Mix one part of lemon juice with two parts of coconut oil. Massage into the roots of the hair regularly
  Dosage: Wash with warm water after three to four hours or leave overnight.

HAIR LOSS

• Massage the scalp gently with coconut or almond oil daily for 10 to 15 minutes
• Boil neem leaves in water. Cool, strain and rinse hair with it
• Increase green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits and sprouts in the diet. Take more proteins, milk, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soya beans, whole grains and nuts

PREMATURE GROWING OF GREY HAIR

• Apply a paste made from 2-tsp. henna powder, 1-tsp. curd, 1-tsp. fenugreek seed powder, 1 tbsp. coffee, 2-tbsp. mint juice and 2-tbsp. basil juice. Apply this paste to the hair for two hours. For a darker color, leave this paste in for 3 to 4 hours. Wash hair with any natural shampoo
• Grate some fresh ginger, mix with honey and place it in a jar. Eat 1 teaspoon everyday

ITCHY SCALP

Here are some ayurvedic tips to get rid of skin tanning this summers :

• Take a  table spoon curd and grind it well, now apply it on the face and wash off after 20 minutes.
• Mix 1/2 teaspoon gram flour with little amount of turmeric and 1 table spoon curd. Apply the pack on face and neck, wash once it gets dried. This pack is very useful in retaining the glow of tanned skin.
• Apply the pulp of fresh Aloe Vera and wash with cold water after 15 minutes. Aloe Vera is regarded as the best remedy to cure skin tanning.
• Take a ripped papaya mash it and apply on the face, wash with warm water after 20 minutes. The enzymes present in papaya eliminates the dead skin from the face and is fruitful for dry skin to.
• You can also apply the paste of Watermelon for 20 minutes, apart from that orange, apple and banana can be used for curing skin tanning. If your skin is oily then add 2 drops of lemon to these packs.
• Mix juice of grapes and orange can be used as a face cleanser. After applying this massage with rose water.
• Apply the juice of potato for some time and wash after half an hour.
• Mix some drops of honey,curd and lemon to the pate of cucumber and papaya. Wash with cold water after 20 minutes. It helps it making the skin soft and fresh.
• Small amount of turmeric mixed with fresh milk can be used as skin cleanser. You can also mix cucumber juice with lemon drops for the same purpose.
• Just combine rose water with glycerin and cucumber juice. Refrigerate and apply this mixture before sun exposure each day.
• To brighten your skin up for a hot day, mix turmeric powder and rice powder with raw milk and tomato juice, enough to form a paste, and apply to face and neck for 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
• For a night cream, prepare a paste made from turmeric and milk or yogurt and apply it to your face. Allow the mask to dry and leave it on overnight. Wash off the mask in the morning using a gentle cleanser.
